FINDING THE RIGHT EXTENSION FOR YOU

Extensions come in many shapes and sizes. We will be happy to advise you on the best approach for your particular property – just let us know what you would like to achieve. We will visit the property and carry out a full survey to make sure your extension is going to work perfectly for you.

There are six main ways in which you can extend your property:

SINGLE STOREY EXTENSIONS.

These will open up a property and connect it with the garden space. They are easier to plan as they are only on one level, and they can be used to create a new space or extend a room outwards.

MULTI STOREY EXTENSIONS.

Add additional space above the ground floor as well, giving your property more potential upstairs. Planning permission can be trickier so you might want to ask us to help with the process.

LOFT CONVERSIONS.

Make better use of the space you already have by extending your property upwards rather than outwards. The loft space can hold great potential and can be converted into additional rooms.

BASEMENT CONVERSIONS.

Similarly, basements can also be used to extend living space. They will often need to be reinforced, which requires extensive structural work, so make sure you ask an expert.

CONSERVATORIES AND ORANGERIES.

Similar to traditional extensions, these are built onto the side of your existing property. They extend the property out into the garden and give it a more open feeling.

GARAGE CONVERSIONS.

Use the garage space to increase your property footprint and gain extra living accommodation. A garage space can be used to add an additional room, or could be knocked through to make a larger space.
